They have gone 9-0-1 in their past 10 games. The only loss in that stretch was an overtime win by the Penguins, who will visit the Islanders Thursday.
Penguins general manager Jim Rutherford was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto last night. Rutherford will be honored at tonight’s game in Pittsburgh with a bobble head night.
