The Penguins cut a three goal deficit in the third period to come back and defeat the Vancouver Canucks 8-6 last night at the PPG Paints Arena. The Pens registered six goals in the last period—with Kris Letang scoring the go-ahead goal with 3:06 left in the 3rd. Tristan Jarry stopped six shots in relief of Matt Murray.
Jake Guentzel and Evgeni Malkin both had a pair of goals. Bryan Rust, Dominik Kahun, and Zach Aston-Reese all contributed goals as well.
The Pens are off today and will make the trip to Columbus to take on the Blue Jackets Friday night.
