The Pittsburgh Penguins play the first of two key back-to-back games tonight when they visit the Tampa Bay Lightning. Face-off is 7pm. Pre-game begins at 6:30pm on WISR.
The Lightning took over the Atlantic Division lead Tuesday with a 5-2 win over Ottawa. They enter the game 35-11-6 overall with 76 points, one point better than Florida. The Pens are 33-14-8 overall and have not played since their win over Columbus Sunday night. They have 74 points and trail Carolina by five points in the Metropolitan Division.
The Pens visit Carolina Friday night. They will host Florida Tuesday.
The New York Rangers defeated St. Louis 5-3 last night and moved to within one point of the Penguins.
