The New York Islanders defeated the Anaheim Ducks 6-3 last night, and have tied the Pens with 78 points. Both teams are holding the Eastern Conference Wild Card spots. They are both five points in front of Florida and Washington. The Penguins have played two fewer games than the Islanders.
