The Pittsburgh Penguins won big on Saturday night, as they beat the Minnesota Wild on the road by a final of 7-4.
Scoring goals for the Pens were Sidney Crosby, Patric Hornqvist, Adam Johnson, Kris Letang, Joseph Blandisi, and Jake Guentzel. Hollidaysburg native Sam Lafferty also scored his first NHL goal and added two assists. Goalie Matt Murray made 29 saves and added one assist in the winning effort.
The second day of the Penguins’ short road trip is Sunday, as they take on the Winnipeg Jets. Faceoff is set for 7pm.
