The Pittsburgh Penguins defeated the St. Louis Blues 5-3 last night at PPG Paints Arena. It was the Penguins ninth consecutive win. The Pens fell behind 3-1 in the second period, with goaltender Casey DeSmith being pulled after allowing three goals on 16 shots. Tristan Jarry, who just returned from the virus list, stopped all 13 shots he faced as the Pens came from behind with three goals in the final period. The Pens scored two power play goals. Bryan Rust scored twice and now has five goals in the two games he has played in since returning from injury.
The Pens visit the Philadelphia Flyers tonight at 7pm. Pre-game on WISR is 6:30pm. The game will be televised on ESPN-plus.
