The Peoples Eat, Drink, Help program has once again stepped up to help a nonprofit in our area.
A $2,000 check from Peoples was presented Friday to Lifesteps at Family Bowlaway. The goal of Lifesteps is to help children, families, adults with special needs, and seniors with changing needs through developing programs and providing services to improve quality of life.
The Eat, Drink, Help program supports local businesses, while at the same time benefitting local charities and nonprofits. Peoples Natural Gas partners with a business, and that business chooses a local charity to support.
Peoples has decided to expand their program to allow for a variety of local small businesses to benefit local non-profit organizations.
