Hunters looking to for more hunting opportunities to hunt across Pennsylvania can now purchase Permits for the Deer Management Assistance Program.
The Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is now allowing landowners to apply for permits to harvest antlerless deer on their property. These permits are offered to white-tail deer hunters in attempt to help control out-of-balance deer populations.
Over 30,000 permits are offered covering over 1.3 million acres of land, 26 state parks and 18 state forest districts are participating in the program.
Permits can be applied for at license issuing agents or at the Pennsylvania Game Commission website.
