Peter Mantzaris

Peter Mantzaris, 85, of Butler passed away Saturday, September 7, 2024 at Concordia at the Orchard.
Born July 24, 1939 in Ambridge, PA, he was a son of the late Stathi and Hilda Kopp Mantzaris.
Peter retired from Butler School District where he taught at Butler High School.
He enjoyed antiques, traveling and teaching. He was well liked by his students who felt that he made a difference in their lives.
Surviving is his brother, George Mantzaris and his sister, Jenny Lunak Along with many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters: Christine Skiles, Catherine Strychor, Irene Wisneski, Richard Buck and Patricia Mantzaris.
There will be no visitation. Burial will be held privately. Arrangements completed by Geibel Funeral Home, 201 East Cunningham St. Butler, PA.
