Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow Tuesday morning, meaning there will be six more weeks of winter.
Very few were in attendance at the 135th annual edition of Groundhog Day at Gobbler’s Knob. A number of cardboard cutout fans were in attendance, along with members of the Inner Circle.
The event was also broadcast on livestream, which had over 15,000 viewers at one point this morning.
The legend of Phil says that if he sees his shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter. If he doesn’t it’s an early spring.
