Federal officials say a man who was arrested nearly four years ago on drug charges has entered a guilty plea.
According to the Department of Justice, 23 year old Jamir Hughes formerly of Delaware County possessed with intent to distribute drugs such as fentanyl and cocaine.
Hughes was stopped by State Police while traveling from Philadelphia to Butler County on the Pennsylvania Turnpike in Somerset County in May of 2020. The Butler County District Attorney’s Drug Task Force helped with this investigation.
Sentencing can range from five to 40 years in jail and a fine of up to $5 million.
