Phyllis Minich, 78, of Butler, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Butler Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Born February 12, 1946, in Butler, she was the daughter of Janet E. Miller of Butler, PA. Phyllis graduated from Butler High School in 1964; and drove a school bus for several years and excelled as a homemaker and mother. She enjoyed baking and spent many hours making mints and cookies for weddings. Phyllis also enjoyed camping near Lake Erie during the summer. She will be remembered for her love of Christmas and specialized in crafting unique ornaments and decorations. Phyllis is survived by her husband William Minich of Butler, PA, who she married November 28, 1964, at Trinity Lutheran Church; also surviving are her daughter Eileen (Gary) Tuck of Butler and son Brian (Elizabeth Holmen) Minich of Baltimore, MD; granddaughter Courteney (Aaron) Taylor of Bridgeport, WV, grandsons Ryan Tuck of Butler, PA and Eric Tuck of Sarasota, FL.
