A local physician received recognition at a weekend event that raised a large amount of money to benefit those in need of medical care in our community.
Butler Health System Foundation’s annual Crystal Ball was held Saturday at the Pittsburgh Marriott North in Cranberry Township. The theme was Black, White, and City Lights.
Dr. Kathy Selvaggi was honored with the 2019 Women of Legacy Award at the event. She is currently the Director of the Palliative Care Program at BHS and has worked to implement free programs such as Navigating the New Me, an annual community memorial, and an aging symposium.
This event also raised over $145,000 for the Butler Health System Foundation which helps pay for equipment like a Robotic Biopsy Staining Workstation.
