A statewide court says that the governing body of high school sports is required to provide thousands of documents, including financial statements.
The state Supreme Court ruled that the PIAA is a public agency and is subject to the Right to Know law. The ruling came after a suit by a Bucks County man who requested documents more than three years ago.
The PIAA had argued they were a nonprofit, not a state agency.
The man who filed the suit expects to receive the requested documents soon.
