The fate of the local fall high school sports season has been decided.
By a vote of 25-5, the PIAA, which is the governing body for high school athletics in Pennsylvania, has decided to move forward with all fall sports starting Monday.
It will be up to individual schools if they would like to participate or not. Governor Tom Wolf had previously recommended that fall sports be postponed until 2021.
Pennsylvania was the last state in the U.S. to make a decision on when fall sports will be played.
