A young boy was injured when his father’s pickup truck grazed the side of a Butler building on Sunday afternoon.
The crash happened about 4 p.m. at the Cunningham Shanor building on West New Castle Street. The truck appeared to crash into concrete steps on the side of the building.
A Butler Ambulance Service crew was called in to tend to the 8-year-old child, who reportedly suffered minor injuries.
Butler City Police say the driver- identified as 31-year-old Shawn Lacamera of Butler- was detained and is under investigation for DUI.
Lacamera’s vehicle was stuck on the steps and had to be towed from the scene.
