Members of the Pine Richland community gathered together last night to remember a teenager that died in a crash over the weekend.
Hundreds met at the Pine Richland football field in honor of 14-year-old Jonathon Tourney. The high school freshman football player died in a crash Saturday night near Babcock Boulevard in Allegheny County.
He died along with 18-year-old Taylor Orlowski. Tourney’s 18-year-old brother was also involved in the crash and another 14-year-old who was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Those who gathered remembered Tourney as a high school freshman who was kind and had a passion for football.
Allegheny County Police say the crash is still under investigation.
