Pirates complete MLB draft with 10 more selections/including Kentucky Gatorade POY

The Pirates drafted 10 more players during the third day of the MLB draft Tuesday. All but one selection was a college player. The selections included six pitchers, two outfielders, a catcher and third baseman. The Pirates final selection of the draft was the only high school player selected yesterday and was the 2024 Gatorade Baseball Player of the Year in Kentucky. A total of 21 players were drafted by the Bucs. The Pirates will have until August 1st to sign the players drafted with remaining college eligibility. The remainder of the selections can be signed up until a week before the 2025 draft.
