The Pittsburgh Pirates losing streak climbed to seven games on Saturday, as the team fell on the road to the St. Louis Cardinals by a final of 3-1.
Adam Frazier put the Buccos up early in the game after he homered on the first pitch. In total, the Pirates managed six hits during Saturday’s loss. Joe Musgrove started on the mound, and he pitched five and one-third innings and allowed six hits while striking out six. He was also charged with all three Cardinal runs.
