The Pittsburgh Pirates fell to the Chicago Cubs in Chicago on Saturday afternoon, the final 3-2.
Leading the Buccos offensively were Adam Frazier (three hits) and Erik Gonzalez (two hits, one run). Wil Crowe started on the mound for the Pirates on Saturday. He pitched six innings and allowed four hits and two runs while striking out five. Mars grad David Bednar also pitched for the Pirates on Saturday. Bednar pitched one inning and struck out one.
