The Pittsburgh Pirates lost to the Minnesota Twins 7-3 Tuesday afternoon for their sixth loss in a row. Pirate starter Joe Musgrove struggled with control, walking a career-high tying five batters in 3-1/3rd innings. The Pirates had nine hits in the game, led by Philip Evans and Erik Gonzalez, who had three hits each. The Bucs left 10 runners stranded.
The Pirates and Twins have arrived at PNC Park and will play a game tonight and tomorrow afternoon. Trevor Williams will start tonight’s game for the Bucs. Game time is 7:05pm. Pirates are now 2-9 overall

The Miami Marlins got the win yesterday in their return to play after eight days suspended due to a coronavirus outbreak on the team in which 17 players tested positive. Packed with replacement players for those who have the virus, the Marlins beat the Baltimore Orioles, 4-0. Those players filling out the Marlins’ 30-man roster included some from the team’s minor league camp, others that they get through trades, and a few taken off the waiver wire.
