The Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the Minnesota Twins 6-2 Sunday to take two of three games in their series, and have evened their record at 11-11. Bryan Reynolds drove in two runs with two doubles. Gregory Polanco hit a solo home run. Polanco and Adam Frazier had three hits each. Will Crowe started for the Pirates, and allowed just one run on four hits over four innings. The Pirates bullpen allowed just a solo home run over the next five innings.
The Bucs are off today, and host the Kansas City Royals for two games beginning tomorrow night at PNC Park. They are currently in third place in the National League Central Division, 2-1/2 games behind first-place Milwaukee.
