The Pittsburgh Pirates blew a 4-0 lead but came back to defeat the Los Angeles Dodgers 6-5 last night to open a three-game series. David Bednar blew his first save of the season when he allowed two runs in the bottom of the eighth inning, but then earned the victory after the Bucs scored twice in the top of the ninth. The Pirates have now taken three of four games against the Dodgers, who have the best record in baseball, this season.
The Dodgers host the Pirates again tonight. First pitch is 10:10pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 9:45pm.
