Pirates trade Newman to Reds

The Pittsburgh Pirates traded shortstop Kevin Newman to the Cincinnati Reds over the weekend, in exchange for reliever Dauri Moreta. The deal came shortly after the Pirates had offered Newman a contract tender for 2023.
