The Pittsburgh Pirates won their fourth game in a row following a 10-3 victory over the Miami Marlins last night at PNC Park. The Bucs broke the game open in the third inning behind a Bryan Reynolds bases-loaded triple. The Pirates had 15 hits in the game, led by Andrew McCutchen and Adam Frazier with three hits each.
Starting pitcher Mike Burrows fell two outs from his second straight win. He was pulled with one out in the fifth inning. Burrows allowed two runs on four hits. He walked three and struck out six. Caleb Ferguson won the game in relief with two scoreless innings.
The Pirates host the Marlins again tonight at 6:40pm. Pre-game on WISR begins at 6:15pm. Mitch Keller will start for the Bucs.
