The Pittsburgh Pirates had their second walk-off victory in as many games with a 5-4 victory over the Chicago White Sox last night at PNC Park. Pinch runner Jason Martin scored on an infield hit by Kevin Newman in the bottom of the ninth. The Bucs scored twice in the eighth inning to tie the game.
Pirate starter Joe Musgrove pitched four shutout innings, allowing three hits.
The Pirates and White Sox meet at 7:05pm tonight. WISR pre-game begins at 6:40pm.
The Bucs have now gone 10-10 over their past 20 games after beginning the year 4-16.
