A local motorist is facing charges after he allegedly failed to stop for authorities earlier this month in Jackson Township, Mercer County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, authorities attempted to pull over a 24-year-old Allegheny County man on Interstate 79 on the morning of August 12th.
Officials say that the motorist failed to stop for police, and was eventually apprehended after authorities utilized spike strips.
Police say that the motorist was then taken to the Mercer County Jail, and was being held on a $10,000 bond.
