A Beaver County man is facing charges in Butler after a road rage incident led to a gun being taken out.
Last Friday, state police were called to Kelly Chevrolet on Route 8 South after 49-year-old Michael Price of New Brighton pulled a gun out on a man during a road rage incident.
The victim told police that Price pointed a “hand gun directly at him through his front passenger side window.” A passenger in the victim’s car also confirmed they saw a gun being pointed at the vehicle.
Police spoke with Price who did not have a gun on him at the time. He then told police he refused a consent search of his vehicle. Police then towed Price’s car as they waited for a warrant.
Before police searched Price’s car he admitted “there might be a gun” in the vehicle. Police found a 9mm handgun in the search, along with ammunition, two wood smoking devices, a THC vape pen, and an assortment of pills.
Price is facing several charges including simple assault and disorderly conduct engage in fighting.
