Pennsylvania State Police are investigating a fatal crash involving an SUV and a pedestrian in neighboring Lawrence County.
The crash happened around midnight along Route 422 in Union Township, which is west of New Castle. Following the crash, all lanes of Route 422 were closed near Matthews Road. The road has since reopened.
The victim has only been described as a white female in her early to mid-30s.
