Police say a stray bullet struck a church in Slippery Rock Township over the weekend.
It was discovered Sunday morning at the Branchton Methodist Church on Branchton Road.
State police investigated the criminal mischief and say that a stray bullet struck and damaged a window at the church. The bullet was found on the ground next to the window.
The damage was estimated at $500.
