Police are investigating after multiple collection mailboxes were broken into on Christmas Eve.
Our news partners at WPXI report that the break-ins happened at post-offices in Cranberry Township, Wexford, and Ingomar. All three locations were along Route 19.
The mailboxes were damaged during the break-ins and now the post-office has removed all three.
If you deposited mail into those boxes, the postal service recommends reaching out to them if you believe your mail may have been stolen or damaged.
The postal service is also working to replace the mailboxes, adding more security to the new ones.
