Police are searching for a suspect in a hit-and-run crash that happened earlier this week.
The accident happened Monday just after noon on Route 38 in Concord Township, near the intersection with Rolling Ridge Drive.
Police say a vehicle tried to make illegally pass 76-year-old Martha Best of Parker. However, another vehicle was in the oncoming lane, forcing the driver back into the northbound lane.
That’s when they hit the back of Best’s vehicle.
The driver then soon fled the scene. The vehicle was described as a white/silver sedan, possibly a Honda or a Hyundai. Police believe the vehicle would have heavy front-end damage.
