Police have closed their investigation into an incident that happened while someone was taking money out of a local ATM.
Sunday night just after 9 p.m. at the Clearview Mall PNC Bank a person was depositing cash into the ATM, when a vehicle approached from behind. Another person got out of the vehicle with an unknown object in his hand.
The first person then fled the scene. A review of surveillance video and additional interviews revealed that no money was stolen.
Police say that the first person misunderstood the intentions of the second person.
