Butler City Police are investigating after a shooting incident Wednesday night.
It happened around 7:40 p.m. in the 300 block of East Penn Street.
Police say that officers arrived on scene to find a 42-year-old man who had been shot in the neck.
Neighbors say they heard a shot that was fired near the home; however, a search by police found no suspects.
Police recovered a loaded firearm at the scene.
The man was taken to a Pittsburgh hospital to be treated for his injuries, but is now considered in stable condition.
