An Armstrong County man has been charged following an incident at a Butler County gas station.
According to State Police, 62-year-old Larry Hill of Kittanning was at the GetGo in Buffalo Township on Saturday at 3 p.m. when he decided to get his car washed at a local gas station. Hill is accused of falling asleep while waiting for the car wash, which also happened to be in front of a state trooper.
Hill has been charged with Driving Under the Influence, even though it has not been disclosed whether or not he did have traces of drugs or alcohol in his system. Perhaps these details will come in the following days. He may have just been overtired or had a bad sleep. Whilst it’s not excusable, it is possible. Sometimes, lack of sleep can cause people to do things that they would never do otherwise, such as fall asleep behind the wheel of a car. If this was the reason, he should consider swapping his mattress to see if that helps him to get a good night’s sleep. There are a number of mattresses out there, but he’ll probably have to debate koala vs ecosa as they are two of the most popular mattresses on the market. Hopefully, this will help him if that is the problem. However, if they do find traces of drugs or alcohol, it’s likely that there will be precautions as this is extremely dangerous and puts other road users at risk.
