State Police say the Christmas Light show at the Fairgrounds is causing traffic issues and they may have to change some traffic patterns.
Police say the unexpected delays happen throughout the weekend starting Friday night and they are concerned about the safety issues the traffic is causing on Route 422.
Police may temporarily shut down the main entrance to the show, which is Unionville Road and its intersection with Route 422.
Police also say no vehicles should be stopping on 422—and they will be enforcing violations starting this weekend.
They urge people to use the back entrance to the Fairgrounds instead of going on Route 422.
Police also say to be aware that wait times for the show are about two to three hours.
