Police have released more information on a crash in Butler Township earlier this week that sent two people to the hospital.
The two vehicle accident happened Monday around 6:20 a.m. on McCalmont Road.
Butler Township Police say 49-year-old Michael Duncan of Renfrew was driving eastbound when he tried to illegally pass another car.
He collided head-on with an oncoming car driven by 45-year-old Paul Ostrowski of Glenshaw.
Both drivers were injured and taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
McCalmont Road was closed for about an hour while crews cleared the scene.
