We’re learning more about a crash yesterday that caused traffic delays on Route 8 in Center Township.
The two vehicle accident happened around 11:15 a.m. at the intersection of Unionville Road and Route 8 North. State police say a car driven by 56-year-old Robert Bohenstengel was driving east on Unionville Road when he approached a red blinking light and did not come to a complete stop.
He then crashed into a car driven by 54-year-old Steven Smith of Ford City who was driving south on Route 8.
Police say both drivers were wearing seatbelts and no one was hurt.
Traffic was delayed for about an hour until crews could clear the scene.
