Police say a student in a local district is facing charges for having weapons on school property.
The incident happened back in September at Slippery Rock High School.
Police say the assistant principal received a tip that a student possibly had drugs or weapons in his truck.
After searching the vehicle, police say the 17-year-old student had knives, tobacco, and a THC cartridge in his truck.
He was charged with possessing a weapon on school property.
