Police are investigating a hit and run vehicle crash that occurred on Route 28 in Allegheny County.
According to State Police, around 7:30 a.m. Thursday, a Toyota Prius driven by a 32-year-old Tarentum woman was struck while traveling southbound near exit 14.
The victim’s vehicle was pushed off the road where it rolled into a ditch. The woman was taken by ambulance to Allegheny Valley Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The other vehicle involved did not stay at the scene.
Police are looking for a small to mid-size SUV possibly white or silver in color. The driver of the vehicle was a white male. Anyone with information should contact the Kittanning Barracks of the State Police.
