Police in Cranberry Township are looking for a man who allegedly burglarized a hotel room with a child sleeping inside.
Our news partners at WPXI report that the incident happened back on December 27th at the Candlewood Suites on Route 19.
Police say the father of the child left the hotel room to talk to his wife in a neighboring room. When he returned five minutes later, there was a man inside the room trying to steal items.
Security footage identified the suspect as Lamont Franklin of Mars.
The father says he got into a scuffle with Franklin and was punched in the face as Franklin fled.
There is a warrant out of the arrest of Franklin. If you have any information, you’re asked to call Cranberry Township Police.
