UPDATE: Butler Township Police say someone picked up the scooter for scrap and has returned it to its owner.

Police in Butler Township are looking for a power scooter that they believe may have been picked up by accident.
Police say the scooter is owned by an elderly, handicapped veteran who lives on South Duffy Road. The scooter broke down along the road, near Hazlett Avenue, on Monday morning and someone picked it up.
Police believe the person who took it may have thought it had been left out as scrap.
The scooter is red and has a basket. If you have any information, you’re asked to contact Butler Township Police.
