Those driving to and from New Year’s activities this holiday weekend should be aware of increased police monitoring.
The Butler Barracks of the State Police will be conducting roving and stationary DUI Patrols around the Butler County area through Monday.
Motorists are asked to have license, registration, and insurance information ready. Those traveling are also encouraged to drive sober or get a designated driver as well as always wear a seat belt.
Pennsylvania’s Steer Clear Law requires motorists to move to the lane furthest away from stopped emergency vehicles or slow down if it is not possible to move over.
