Inclement weather held up the PONY World Series in Washington Tuesday. Just one game was completed. Youngstown, Ohio clinched its second trip to a division championship with a 9-3 victory over Puerto Rico. The loss eliminated Puerto Rico, and moved Youngstown into a division championship game against Chinese-Tapei tonight. A game between Simi Valley, California and Washington was suspended in the first inning due to weather. The California team was leading 5-1. That game will be completed today, with the winner meeting Bay City, Michigan in the other division final.
