A road in Connoquenessing Township will be closing next week as part of construction on Route 68.
PennDOT officials say that Kriess Road will shut down in between the intersection with Route 68 and Stevenson Road.
The closure is expected to last nine days and wrap up on July 30th.
Stevenson Road will be open, and that is the detour for drivers to access Kriess Road.
Work is expected to continue on Route 68/Evans City Road through next November.
