Motorists in the Jefferson Township area should be aware of a road closure as part of a pipe replacement project.
PennDOT is closing a portion of Saxonburg Road from the intersection with Mushrush Road to Green Manor Drive.
Crews will be replacing a large cross pipe under that portion of road. The project is expected to be completed by the end of the day but will be shifted to the following day if necessary due to weather.
That section of road will be closed to all vehicles other than local traffic and emergency vehicles. A detour will be posted using Route 356 South to Winfield Road.
