The Jeff Potter Baseball Tour will be making their return to Butler to continue their effort of community service.
On Wednesday, July 15, the group of young individuals will be completing some work at the Butler Historical Society. They’ll also be helping a local homeowner on their property.
The tour has spent a decade traveling to various locations between Virginia and Pennsylvania with primarily a different group of kids each year. Normally, the Potter Tour travels with two groups of young people, but this year with the pandemic, they only have nine young individuals on the tour.
The group travels one month a year and is packed with multiple stops.
Last week, the group stopped in Butler and started some projects at the Historical Society and in Alameda Park. They went to Freeport last week as well.
Again their final stop in Butler this year is on Wednesday.
