A Mercer County woman facing charges for her role in the Capitol riots is apologizing to a judge for wearing a mesh mask.
According to our news partners at WPXI, 40-year-old Rachel Powell was facing push back from the presiding judge in her case after posting a photo online of her wearing a see-through mesh mask.
As part of her release, she was required to wear a mask anytime in public.
Powell said she meant no disrespect to the court and that the mask had a clear plastic barrier behind the mesh.
Powell is facing charges for allegedly using a battering ram to break a window at the Capitol and using a bullhorn to order out directions.
