Power has been restored after a large outage Monday in Butler County.
According to First Energy, at one point Monday morning more than 3,000 residents were without power.
That number fell to around 900 Monday afternoon with most of the outages concentrated in the Connoquenessing Township area.
The reported cause of the outage was an animal coming into contact with equipment at a substation.
Power was able to be fully restored around 4 p.m.
