The Powerball jackpot has now reached the $1 billion mark.
Nobody took home the grand prize last night, which sent the total jackpot to one of the highest in lottery history.
Last night’s winning numbers were: 5, 8, 9, 17, 41 and Powerball of 21.
If someone takes home the grand prize on Wednesday, they’ll receive a lump sum payment of $516 million.
The Mega Millions has also grown significantly—it’s worth an estimated $640 million. The next drawing is Tuesday night.
